SheDecides Day is a day of energy and activity. All over the world people are standing up, speaking out and taking action. Friends of SheDecides challenge anyone or anything that denies women and girls their basic human rights to make decisions about their bodies. Decisions that are theirs, and theirs alone.
SheDecides is your movement – it exists because of the power, passion and perseverance you have demonstrated over the past year. SheDecides Day is an opportunity to highlight, leverage and catapult your activities to even greater heights and to achieve even more results for women and girls.
On 2 March 2018 events of different sizes and formats are taking place all over the world, unleashing the continued, growing passion for – and commitment to uphold – the rights of girls and women to decide.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? Take photos of yourself or with family & friends holding a poster/page with the words #SheDecides at the top followed by your own message(s) relating to the rights of women and girls to decide over their own bodies.
Email your photos to [email protected] and we will post it on the PSH and Siyakwazi Websites, Facebook and Twitter pages (please include your full name and location).
This is not just a movement for women to join therefore we urge young men to also stand up in their numbers and join this campaign.
